WIMS 2026 seeks contributions in the following tracks/Topics:

Track 2: Machine Intelligence & Learning Systems

• Multimodal learning from web-scale data

Track 3: Semantics & Knowledge Technologies
• Ontologies, reasoning, and semantic interoperability
• Knowledge graph construction and enrichment
• Semantic search and question answering
• Neuro-symbolic and hybrid semantic systems

Track 4: Human-Centered Web Intelligence
• Human-AI interaction and cognitive interfaces
• Ethics, fairness, and transparency in web AI
• AI for accessibility and inclusion
• UX design for intelligent web systems

Track 5: Web Infrastructure & Systems
• Scalable architectures for intelligent services
• Edge/cloud computing for semantic and AI workloads
• Web3, blockchain, and decentralized intelligence
• Streaming analytics and real-time web intelligence

Track 6: Applications & Societal Impact
• Smart cities and IoT on the web
• E-governance and digital public services
• Health informatics and bio-web intelligence
• AI in education, culture, and sustainability

Submissions must be in an electronic form as PDF format and should be uploaded using the conference website. The submitted paper should be at most 14 printed pages. Papers that fail to comply with length limit will be rejected. Submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least 3 peer reviewers. After the preliminary notification date, authors rebut by evidence and arguments all reviewer inquiries and their comments. Based on the rebuttal feedback, reviewers notify authors with the final decision. Selection criteria will include: relevance, significance, impact, originality, technical soundness, and quality of presentation. At least one author should attend the conference to present the paper.

Authors should consult Springer’s Instructions for Authors of Proceedings and use either the LaTeX or the Word templates provided below for the preparation of their papers.

All paper submissions for WIMS-2026 will be via Microsoft CMT (under Main Conference Track).

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

The conference Proceedings will be published and indexed by the Communications in Computer and Information Science (Springer CCIS) .

Selected presented papers will be invited for submission to two Special Issues:

  • Camera-ready and copyright submission deadline :  13/07/2026
  • Authors registration deadline: 13/07/2026
