SSCM 2023: Smart Supply Chain Management
A smart supply chain is a digitally connected system that uses technologies such as IoT, blockchain, AI, and machine learning to optimize supply chain management. Real-time data is collected by IoT devices, analyzed using AI and machine learning algorithms, and blockchain technology is used to secure and track the movement of goods. The benefits of a smart supply chain management include improved visibility, increased efficiency, and improved agility. By using data-driven decisions, companies can reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction, respond quickly to changes in demand and market conditions, and stay competitive. The smart supply chain is an important topic because it offers many benefits to companies that adopt it.
Authors are solicited to contribute to this special session by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the following areas but are not limited to.
- IoT-enabled supply chain management
- Blockchain for supply chain traceability and transparency
- AI and machine learning in supply chain optimization.
- Robotics and automation in logistics and warehousing
- Cloud-based supply chain platforms and applications
- Predictive analytics for demand forecasting and inventory management
- Sustainable supply chain practices and circular economy models
- Digital twins for supply chain simulation and optimization
- Supplier relationship management and risk assessment
- E-commerce and omnichannel supply chain strategies.
Authors are invited to submit papers through the conference Submission System by May 1st, 2023. Authors are required to follow the Paper Submission Guidelines section on the Call for Papers page. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this conference. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings and be indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection databases.
