Special Track on AI, Large Language Models, NLP, Knowledge Graphs, and Smart Intelligent Systems for Software Engineering and Advanced Applications (AI4SE 2026)
Artificial Intelligence continues to play a transformative role in shaping next-generation technological ecosystems. Recent breakthroughs in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) have accelerated the development of intelligent systems capable of advanced reasoning, language understanding, semantic knowledge representation, content generation, and humancomputer interaction.
These advancements are having a profound impact on software engineering by enabling intelligent automation in software development processes, including requirements engineering, code generation, software testing, debugging, software maintenance, defect prediction, and system optimization. AI-powered software engineering tools are increasingly becoming integral components in modern development environments and DevOps ecosystems.
Simultaneously, Smart Web technologies are evolving toward adaptive, semantic, context-aware, and personalized web environments that improve user engagement and system intelligence. Intelligent web systems now integrate machine learning, conversational AI, recommender systems, knowledge graphs, ontologies, semantic reasoning, and data analytics to support smarter digital services and applications.
The convergence of AI, semantic technologies, intelligent systems, and software engineering presents significant opportunities and research challenges for academia and industry alike. Emerging paradigms such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), neuro-symbolic AI, multimodal LLMs, explainable AI, and intelligent decision-support systems are creating new possibilities for building scalable, trustworthy, and humancentered intelligent applications.
This track aims to explore these evolving directions and foster collaboration among researchers working on innovative theories, methodologies, architectures, frameworks, tools, and applications related to intelligent software systems and AI-powered web technologies.

All submissions for this special track must be written in English and conform to the Springer LNCS proceedings format with the following page limits: 15 pages for papers including references. Submitted papers will undergo a “double-blind” review process, coordinated by the Program Committee. To ensure anonymity of authorship, authors must ensure that authors’ names, affiliations, funding, and any other identifying information of authorship do not appear on the title page or elsewhere in the paper. Authors must provide the complete and final list of authors at the submission stage. No addition, removal, or change in the order of authors is allowed after submission.
