Call For Papers

IDC 2026 welcomes scientific contributions addressing different aspects of the satisfiability problem, interpreted in a broad sense. These can vary between:

  • Theoretical advances
  • Practical advances, e.g. algorithms or software architectures,
  • Knowledge compilation,
  • Implementation-level details of SAT solving tools,
  • Problem encodings and reformulations,
  • Applications, or
  • Case studies based on rigorous experimentation

IDC 2026 welcomes research works centered on all aspects of intelligent distributed computing, with an intention to balance between theoretical research ideas and their application to great variety of industrial cases. To this end, scholars and practitioners from academia and industrial fields are invited to submit high-quality original contributions to IDC 2026. The structure of the symposium consists of regular sessions with technical contributions reviewed and selected by an international program committee, as well as of special sessions and workshops targeted on multi-disciplinary and cutting-edge topics.

Topics include, but are not restricted to:

  • Cloud Computing
  • Distributed swarm robotics systems
  • Ephemeral and Unreliable computing
  • Intelligent Distributed Applications
  • Intelligent Distributed and High-Performance Architectures
  • Intelligent Distributed Knowledge Representation and Processing
  • Intelligent Transportation Systems
  • Internet of Things
  • Nature-inspired methods for supervised and unsupervised data mining
  • Networked Intelligence
  • Organization and Management
  • Parallel metaheuristics for optimization

The main goal of the IDC symposium is to gather researchers and practitioners to foster and ease rich discussions around the latest findings, research achievements and ideas in the area of Intelligent Distributed Computing. The IDC 2026 provides an open forum for enhancing the collaboration between researchers, lecturers, and students from Intelligent Computing and Distributed Computing communities. Intelligent Computing covers a hybrid palette of methods, techniques and their applications ranging from classical artificial intelligence, information and data sciences, multi-agent technologies or computational intelligence to more recent trends such as swarm intelligence, bio-inspired computation, cloud computing, machine learning or social-cyber-physical trust and security. Distributed Computing develops methods and technology to build complex computational systems composed of collaborating software components scattered across diverse computational elements.

Submissions to IDC 2026 are solicited in three categories.

  • Full papers (15 pages)
  • Short papers (10 pages)
  • Posters (3 pages)

Authors should consult Springer’s Instructions for Authors of Proceedings and use either the LaTeX or the Word templates provided below for the preparation of their papers.

Submissions should not be under review elsewhere nor be submitted elsewhere while under review for IDC 2026, and should not consist of previously published material. Submissions not consistent with the above guidelines may be returned without review.

Please submit your paper  via Microsoft CMT (Main Conference Track).

One author of each accepted paper is expected to present it at the conference.

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

The conference Proceedings will be published and indexed by the Communications in Computer and Information Science (Springer CCIS) .

A selection of high-quality papers presented at IDC 2026 will be invited for submission of extended versions for possible publication in internationally recognized and indexed scientific journals, including SN Computer Science published by Springer and Digital published by MDPI, subject to further peer-review and journal-specific editorial criteria.

  • Regular paper submission deadline : 27/04/2026
  • Notification to authors: 22/06/2026
  • Camera-ready and copyright submission deadline :  13/07/2026
  • Authors registration deadline: 13/07/2026
