These contents can be used to spread misinformation, manipulate narratives, or infringe on fundamental rights, particularly when they depict real people in fictitious contexts.

This keynote explores the use of machine learning techniques, with a particular focus on contrastive learning, to address two key challenges: the detection of AI-generated images and the attribution of such images to their corresponding generative models. We propose an architecture based on Siamese networks and a combination of self-supervised and supervised learning, designed to enhance generalization to unseen generators during training (zero-shot learning).

Experiments were conducted on large datasets containing both synthetic and real images, evaluating the model’s ability to detect artificial content as well as to identify its source. Additionally, explainability techniques (such as LIME) and latent representation visualizations were incorporated to support result interpretation and provide greater transparency in the classification process. The results demonstrate a significant improvement over traditional supervised models, especially in scenarios where new image generators are continuously emerging

David Camacho Professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain David Camacho is Full Professor at Computer Systems Engineering Department of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), he is the head of the Applied Intelligence and Data Analysis research group (AIDA: https://aida.etsisi.uam.es),…

[141
148,109
135,108
post-5253","speaker","type-speaker","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","speaker-category-keynote-speaker","speaker-tags-keynotes","speaker-tags-speaker","location-madrid","location-spain
["GET
