Submissions must be in an electronic form as PDF format and should be uploaded using the conference website. The submitted paper should be at most 14 printed pages. Papers that fail to comply with length limit will be rejected. Submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least 3 peer reviewers. After the preliminary notification date, authors rebut by evidence and arguments all reviewer inquiries and their comments. Based on the rebuttal feedback, reviewers notify authors with the final decision. Selection criteria will include: relevance, significance, impact, originality, technical soundness, and quality of presentation. Preference will be given to submissions that take strong or challenging positions on important emergent topics related to Digital Ecosystems. At least one author should attend the conference to present the paper.

All paper submissions for MEDES-2025 will be via Easychair.

The conference Proceedings will be published and indexed by the Communications in Computer and Information Science (Springer CCIS) .

Selected presented papers will be invited for submission to two Special Issues:

  • Regular paper submission deadline : 15 July, 2025 05 September, 2025
  • Notification to authors: 15 August, 2025 25 September, 2025
  • Camera-ready and copyright submission deadline : 16 September, 2025 01 October, 2025
  • Authors registration deadline: 16 September, 2025 01 October, 2025

Requirements

All contributions should be original and not published elsewhere or intended to be published during the review period.
Papers are invited from prospective authors with interests on the indicated conference topics.
Contributions from more applied related fields in industry and commerce are very welcome.
All accepted papers must be presented by one of the authors, who must register for the conference and pay the fee.
Only personally presented papers can be nominated for the Best Paper competition and considered for publication in an expanded form in special issues of prestigious journals.

Plagiarism and Self-Plagiarism

The authors are requested to avoid plagiarism and self-plagiarism in their works.
You can find in the Internet numerous guidelines on ethical writing, such as a comprehensive guide prepared by Miguel Roig.

Please note that the members of the Program Committee will give special attention to plagiarism and self-plagiarism while reviewing papers submitted to the conference.
