Conference Venue

The conference will be held at  Centro Congressi Federico II,  Via Partenope, 36 – Napoli, Italy

The Partenope Congress Center is located on the seafront of Naples in a central, panoramic area and close to the best hotels in the city.

From the large atrium, characterized by the monumental staircase, you enter the first floor, the nucleus of the Centre, equipped with a large 168-seat room, the former Aula Magna of the Faculty of Economics and Commerce, a multipurpose room, spaces for the secretariat and a refreshment area.

Accomodation

The area around the Conference venue (Via Partenope, 36 – Naples) is home to many hotels, as shown on the map. Since Naples is a popular tourist destination and the Conference location is in one of the city’s most prestigious areas, we strongly recommend booking your accommodation in advance.

Airport transportation

Airport

Naples is served by Capodichino International Airport, which offers daily flights to major European hubs such as London, Paris, Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Munich, with over 100 destinations across Europe. The airport is conveniently located just 7 km from the city center. For more details about flights and Naples Airport, visit the “Aeroporto di Napoli” website.

Alternatively, you can fly into Rome’s Fiumicino or Ciampino airports. From either airport, you will need to take a train or bus to Rome’s Termini Railway Station. The Leonardo Express train from Fiumicino airport takes approximately 32 minutes to reach Termini. From Rome Termini, high-speed trains such as Freccia Rossa, Freccia Argento, and Italo depart hourly to Naples, with a travel time of around 1 hour and 10 minutes. Bus

You can take the bus called “Alibus” to Piazza Garibaldi (Railway central station, 1st Stop) . From there take Metro 1
You can take the bus called “Alibus” to Stazione Marittima (Port, 2st Stop, in the city centrum)

Taxi

Taxis are just outside the arrivals area (~ 20€).

Train transportation

Train

Naples’ main railway station is Napoli Centrale – Piazza Garibaldi. The city is well connected to major Italian cities via high-speed trains, including Freccia Rossa, Freccia Argento, and ITALO.

Bus

You can take the R2 bus just outside the station and get off at Piazza del Plebiscito. Tickets can be purchased inside the railway station, or by sending an SMS with the message “ANM R2” to 4868680.

Metro

Take Metro Line 1 from Garibaldi (just outside the station) towards Dante and get off at Toledo. From there, you can either take a taxi or enjoy a scenic walk along Via Toledo, passing through Piazza del Plebiscito
