To help you prepare the final copy of your paper, we have included in the following steps all of the information you will need to submit and register your camera-ready paper (all the materials must be sent before April 15th, 2023at 11:59 PM EST):
STEP 1: Revise your paper(s) in response to reviewer comments
STEP 2: Format the camera-ready with respect to the conference formatting guidelines. Including all figures, tables, and references, you are allowed a total of:
- 8 pages for regular/industrial papers (with possible 2 extra pages max. of 100 euros each),
- 4 pages for short/student papers (with possible 2 extra pages max. of 100 euros)
Formatting guidelines:
- Download the ACM Digital Library optimal distiller settings file here.
- Please follow the TAPS workflow detailed here in order to prepare the final version of your submission.
- PLEASE ONLY USE THE TEMPLATES PROVIDED HERE TO GENERATE YOUR PDF:
- For LaTeX submissions: authors need to prepare their inputs by using the “sigconf” template (two-column format to check the float position, page limits, pagination, etc.), and before uploading the file to TAPS, authors should ONLY change the “sigconf” option to “manuscript” as per ACM guidelines, the \documentclass command will then be as follows: \documentclass[manuscript]{acmart}
- For Microsoft Word submissions: authors need to prepare their inputs using the one-column template mentioned previously and upload the file to TAPS. TAPS will then auto-convert the one-column format and produce a properly formatted output according to the publication specifications (i.e., the two-column format).
- To determine how many pages your submission will ultimately have, please refer to the “Estimating the Page Count” section provided here.
- Update the permission text on the first page with the text provided by ACM in the Copyright PDF file when validating the copyright (and don’t forget to add your DOI).
- Add the corresponding CSS concepts here.
- Revise the ACM Reference format as follows:
FirstName Surname, FirstName Surname and FirstName Surname. 2023. Insert Your Title Here: Insert Subtitle Here. In Proceedings of the 27th International Database Engineered Applications Symposium (IDEAS’23). ACM, Heraklion, Crete, Greece. - All fonts must be embedded within the PDF file (please read this link to know more about how to embed your fonts)
- Do NOT protect your PDF with any password/encryption
- Do NOT use page numbering (page numbers should be removed)
