Students will receive inspiration from their peers and will have a chance to discuss their research objectives with senior community members in the context of an established international conference. The ST session will take place during the conference. Each participant will present her\/his work, followed by a discussion with senior researchers. Receiving feedback about your work from senior researchers and discussing it with them is an excellent opportunity to receive valuable comments and suggestions on the research activity.<\/p>\n<p>One accepted paper will be awarded the\u00a0\u201cBest Student Paper Award\u201d\u00a0by the Program Committee members.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Submission Guidelines&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1752744475873-e461d84f-724e&#8221;][vc_column_text]Submit a paper of at least 2 pages and at most 4 pages in\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ffbb00;\" href=\"https:\/\/preview.springer.com\/gp\/computer-science\/lncs\/conference-proceedings-guidelines\">Springer LNCS format<\/a>\u00a0and describe the state of the whole research project, rather than a specific completed result. <b>You must be the only author of the paper<\/b>. The paper should outline the objectives, the problem, state of the art, results obtained so far, and what is still to be done in the frame of the research project. Papers must be submitted via <a style=\"color: #ffbb00;\" href=\"https:\/\/cmt3.research.microsoft.com\/APWebWAIM2026\/\"><strong>Microsoft CMT<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0under the &#8220;Student track&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Why Submitting to ST is important?&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1752744475879-b3e43621-9c7c&#8221;][vc_column_text]There are many good reasons to submit, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mentorship program: ST provides a unique opportunity for students to receive constructive feedback and to improve their work through a pre-submission mentorship program.<\/li>\n<li>Improving your publication record: publishing a paper as an undergraduate or as a MSc\/MA student is beneficial when applying for a PhD program. Publishing a paper in ST can be really helpful for improving students\u2019 publication record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All accepted papers will be presented either as oral presentations or during poster sessions, which will give students an opportunity to interact with and to present their work to a large and diverse audience, including top researchers in the field and assigned mentors.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Pre-Submission&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1752744704086-e632e986-5838&#8243;][vc_column_text]The ST offers students the opportunity to receive feedback prior to submitting their work for review. The goal of the pre-submission program is to improve the quality of writing and presentation of the student\u2019s work, not to critique the work itself. Participation is optional but encouraged. The pre-submission mentorship is not anonymous.<\/p>\n<p>The participants will receive a feedback within four weeks from the program committee.
