The Asia Pacific Web (APWeb) and Web-Age Information Management (WAIM) Joint International Conference on Web and Big Data (APWeb-WAIM) is aiming at attracting professionals of different communities related to Web and Big Data who have common interests in interdisciplinary research to share and exchange ideas, experience and the underlying techniques and applications, including Web technologies, database systems, information management, software engineering and big data. It is our great pleasure to invite you to contribute papers and participate in this premier annual event. All submissions must be written in English and conform to the Springer LNCS proceedings format with the following page limits: 15 pages for regular papers including references. Submitted papers will undergo a “double-blind” review process, coordinated by the Program Committee. To ensure anonymity of authorship, authors must ensure that authors’ names, affiliations, funding, and any other identifying information of authorship do not appear on the title page or elsewhere in the paper. The submissions rejected in the 1st round cannot be resubmitted for the 2nd round. Authors must provide the complete and final list of authors at the submission stage. No addition, removal, or change in the order of authors is allowed after submission.

All paper submissions for APWeb-WAIM 2026 will be via Microsoft CMT.
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
Furthermore, the best papers accepted to APWeb-WAIM 2026 will be invited to special issues of some prestigious journals, including:

- WWW Journal (IF 3.4, JCR Q2)
- ARRAY (IF 4.5, JCR Q2)
This provides an excellent opportunity for authors to extend the impact of their work.

Requirements
All contributions should be original and not published elsewhere or intended to be published during the review period.
Papers are invited from prospective authors with interests on the indicated conference topics.
Contributions from more applied related fields in industry and commerce are very welcome.
All accepted papers must be presented by one of the authors, who must register for the conference and pay the fee.
Only personally presented papers can be nominated for the Best Paper competition and considered for publication in an expanded form in special issues of prestigious journals.
Plagiarism and Self-Plagiarism
The authors are requested to avoid plagiarism and self-plagiarism in their works.

Please note that the members of the Program Committee will give special attention to plagiarism and self-plagiarism while reviewing papers submitted to the conference.
APWeb-WAIM 2026 will be an in-person conference. However, online attendance is possible for authors who cannot attend.
