{"id":221,"date":"2025-01-30T07:32:34","date_gmt":"2025-01-30T07:32:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conferences.sigappfr.org\/aiccsa2025\/?page_id=221"},"modified":"2025-02-06T13:17:31","modified_gmt":"2025-02-06T13:17:31","slug":"call-for-tutorial-proposals","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/conferences.sigappfr.org\/aiccsa2025\/call-for-tutorial-proposals\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Tutorial Proposals"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">ACS\/IEEE AICCSA 2025 seeks tutorial proposals on new and emerging topics within the research scope of the conference.&nbsp;Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Healthcare devices and applications<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Digital health and Artificial Intelligence<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Robustness of clinical AI methods<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Ethics in AI for Healthcare<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Robust and interpretable natural language processing for healthcare<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Confidentiality, integrity, and privacy concerns in information systems<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Blockchain applications in systems security<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Systems security &amp; safety<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Security assessment and vulnerability evaluation<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Distributed Computing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Intelligent devices and environments<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Internet Computing and Applications<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">User interfaces and interaction models<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Adversarial attack and defense<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Multimodal and representation learning<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Explainable computer vision<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Multimedia systems<\/mark><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Instructions, submission, and selection process<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">The proposal should concisely and clearly describe the content and objectives of the tutorial and must include:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Abstract, objectives and motivation, and intended audience;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Name and a short biography of each tutorial presenter;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A description of the topics that the tutorial will address, emphasizing their timeliness;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An outline of the tutorial content, including its tentative schedule and the presenters for different parts;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possibility of and suitability for a virtual presentation of the tutorial;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A description of the past\/relevant experience of the speaker(s) on the topic of the tutorial;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A description of previous tutorial experience of the speaker(s), and past versions of the tutorial;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State whether a similar tutorial has been offered in recent conferences (last two years) and how your tutorial differs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">The proposal should be formatted in PDF and not exceed 5 pages. It should be uploaded for review on EasyChair (<a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=aiccsa2025\" style=\"color:#cf2e2e\">Here<\/a>) while selecting the \u201cTutorials\u201d track during the submission. Submitted posters will undergo a thorough review process carried out by the tutorials\u2019 co-chairs. Key selection criteria will be clarity, relevance, timeliness, novelty, and originality.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Please address your questions to Tutorial Program Co-Chairs&nbsp; :<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Accepted tutorials<\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Authors of accepted tutorials are expected to animate 2-3 hours session during the conference at the specific time slot indicated in the program. At least one of the tutorial\u2019s authors is required to register and attend in person.
